On the Threshold of a Dream

Approximately two thousand years ago conditions, circumstances and world systems were ripe and ready for one of the defining events in human history. At exactly the right moment, at the right place and at the right time a child was born, His Name, Yeshua! A Jewish boy circumcised the eight day, learned to speak Hebrew and Aramaic and Bar Mitzvah’d on His twelve birthday. This child, of the lineage of the Jewish King David and his sons He had the full authority on the human side to be both priest and king, through adoption by Joseph he legally inherited the royal line and Mary on the priestly line. Not only did these natural hereditary facts exist but in addition, He did not receive the blood or DNA of His adoptive father Joseph. Through the Virgin birth He had the DNA, of His heavenly Father. His cousin John should have been high priest with the right to enter the Holy of Holies. However, they both had assignments to complete that were greater than the hereditary rights they possessed.

We now stand once again on the, “Threshold of a Dream!” The very dream that existed in the counsel of the God-Head, God, (Elohim – Creator God), Father, (Yehovah), Son, (Yeshua), Holy Spirit, (Kodosh Ha Ruach). In unity they agreed that humanity would be created, male and female. That the Son, (Yeshua Ben Yehovah) would come to this earth to pay the penalty of humanity’s fall into sin by His death on the cross and then through the power of His resurrection have the authority to establish the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Heaven, The Nation of Israel to create, The Bride, and create a New Race of Humanity. (All of these epithets are the same) What was planned for humanity in the Garden of Eden would come into reality with a Kingdom and a King over all.

Today we are at the very threshold of that reality. The world is once again at that tipping point, teetering between the desolation of unbridled hate, evil and death or ready for the manifestation of the Glorious Ideal of Heaven here on earth overflowing with love, goodness and life. This ideal of the Family of God is marked by those of one passion, one heart, one mind and one message-in unity. This is the time of the fulfillment of everything Yeshua prayed in John 17. He will have all that He requested.

In preparation for His soon return and the establishment of His Kingdom, there is much preparation that must be completed. We must see the true order of things restored. We must see as stated in Acts chapter three, “The restoration of ALL things.” Top on this list is transformation of the, “Church” system that is out of order. The pastor lead institutional religion of Christianity and church, stands as the greatest obstacle to the coming Kingdom. The institutional church has adopted many sentimental and romantic notions as doctrine, which must be replaced with truth. A wise man once said, “If there is a right way to do something, do it the right way!” We are, in so many ways, almost in the Will of God!

We have blindly replaced (Passover) with, “Easter,” the belief in the cessation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and replaced them with marketing and church growth programs. Also, the replacement of the nation of Israel with the, “church.” When the religion of Christianity became the State Religion, there was the systematic replacement of our King’s traditions with pagan holidays.

Also, we have adopted the title, “Lord” as a replacement for His true name, “Yehovah.” We have been taught that the Father turned His back on His Son when He was crucified. We have made a break in the Bible with Old and New Testaments, when in fact it is one unfolding story and there should be no break. The list of errors goes on and we will not attempt to break them all down here.

The challenge every human being must face today is whether we will come out of darkness into His marvelous light. Will we begin preaching and living the Gospel of the Kingdom supremely or continue in the error of being sidelined into the spectator lifestyle of the Gospel of Salvation. Every man and woman on this planet at this time must decide for themselves. Either He, Yeshua Ben Yehovah is the Lord of every thought, word, passion and action or He is not Lord at all.

He revealed the Name of His Father, YEHOVAH, and equally important as it says in John 17:11, the Father has bestowed the “The Name” (Shem) upon Him. You have known the baby born in a manager as Jesus, let me be the first to introduce you to His Father, the one true God and His name is, YEHOVAH. This name is wonderful, counselor, mighty God, (Elohim – Creator) and He is Emmanuel, “God with us.” He is and His memorial Name will always be, YEHOVAH! The qualities of His character have been revealed as, “I am!” and always will be. Your healer, your shepherd, your righteousness, your provider and everything that you will ever need. The character attributes and personality qualities that reveal the meaning of His Name, His name; Yehovah!

Get ready we have just begun!
As good, "Bereans," let's study to find out if these things are true.

I am an encourager

What do you do?

Recently I was flying back home from a ministry trip.
I sat next to a guy who declared he was an atheist.
I asked him where he was traveling and what he did for a living.
He then asked me what I did, to which I said, “I am an encourager!”
This cracked him up, “encourager?”

I said, “yes,” I encourage people! This gave me an opportunity to share about our recent trip to Erbil Kurdistan and how we went to encourage the Iraqi people.

He then said, “you know of late, I have been having a hard time believing that all that is around us in the world just happened by chance.”

This was a divine appointment, and I gave him my card and said, “if you need a friend give me a call.”

It is not complicated, this Kingdom of God business, just be kind, friendly and caring! "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Matt. 5:16

“To Change how you feel, change how you think”

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.

A very big part of how we live life, make decisions, arrive at convictions, qualify or disqualify people’s entry into our lives, and evaluate our happiness are all based on how we, “feel.” We say things like, “I don’t feel good about that choice,” “I don’t feel good about that person,” or “I just don’t feel good about what I am hearing.”

We get up in the morning and someone says, “How are you doing this morning?” We do a quick evaluation of any physical pain, emotional upset, or mood change and then say, “I am doing fine, or great,” or “I’ll get by”, or “I am hanging in there.” All these responses reflect how we “feel.”

Mature sons and daughters of God choose to put more trust in God, His Word, and His promises than they do how they, “feel,” naturally. They place all feelings into the hands of God for His determination of accuracy and truth. We find He gives us sanctified emotions.

That is why we pray, “O Lord sanctify me completely, spirit, soul and body, mind, will and emotions, feelings, mood, and imagination.” We choose by an act of our will to have the mind of Christ, which includes His emotions and feelings. And we choose to reject harmful or negative feelings and not allow them to go unrestrained. We chose to partake of His peace that He has provided for us.

Imagine the two tines of a tuning fork with your mind, will, and emotions on one side and His mind, plan for your life, and His Word on the other side. Together when they strike it produces one harmonious sound that others may tune up to around you.

This change of thinking begins when we know His voice, (tuning up), we know His peace, (tuning up), we know His word, (tuning up).

His peace and joy pass all human or natural understanding and guards our hearts and minds. This daily consecration and commitment will keep you in perfect peace to choose wisely and walk with authority bearing much fruit in our lives.

Proverbs 23:7
For as he (man) thinks within himself, so he is.

Return to the Battle

Take up the gauntlet, once again. It matters not how many times you have failed. It matters not how far astray you fell. There before you, the future lies, like a blank canvas ready for you to pick up the vision, once again.

The axe head fell off in days past and only by the Grace and Mercy of God, a miracle unfolds. He restores what was lost and makes all things new your destiny in His loving hands to renew.

Put on your armor, look not back but only forward and lift up your eyes to the hills from whence cometh your help. He is for you and He has pulled you up from the pit, deluged with the mud of regret and put your feet back on the solid ground of His perfect will to erase sorrows frown.

Do not rejoice over me O my enemy, tho I fall you will see me rise again. Not by strength, nor by power but by the Spirit of the living God I will rise, and I will enter once again on the path created for me to walk even before I was born.

Rise up O mighty warriors, and leave the past in His hands, take the future steps with confidence that your God reigns, and He will never, ever leave you; He will never ever forsake you. He is for you and through Him you will be restored, victoriously and will overcome all. With Him in Glory, you too will reign, just as He intended from the very beginning.

Dust yourself off, put on your garments of praise, look to Him the one that authored the poem that you are, the faith imparted. Now you are free in His holiness, purity, innocence, and clean conscience, without degree.

Come and let us go together you and me, shoulder to shoulder and let us find others to set free.

BE PERFECT !

When our Lord Yashua, Jesus from Nazareth, walked on this earth, He set forth some commands for us to follow. Each time He gave a directive He was revealing the culture of the Kingdom of God. One of those is from Matthew chapter five.

Matthew 5:48 (NASB)
“Therefore, you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

When we read these words our minds immediately hit a brick wall, “That is impossible.” Be perfect? How could that even begin to be fulfilled? After all what does perfect mean?

According to Webster’s dictionary perfect means:
“Without fault, flawless or without defect. Satisfying all requirements, accurate. Corresponding to an ideal standard or abstract concept. Faithfully reproducing the original. Legally valid. Pure, Complete, mature”

The Greek word here is: Teleios
This is an adjective that is defined as:
“Finished, brought to completion. Fully grown, or of full age, mature”

This begins to open a whole new way of thinking! When our Lord gave this exhortation we can only wonder how could we possible be perfect as our Heavenly Father? We then wonder, "perfect in what way?" If we look at the context of this scripture it begins to become clear that He is talking about love!

This reveals even greater insight into what Paul was saying in Ephesians 4:15-16

but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

The Lord began His public teaching by introducing humanity to the nine Beatitudes. This corresponds to the nine commandments of moral conduct that still apply to us today. The bridge between the two lists is the Sabbath day. And the Lord makes it clear He is the Sabbath rest! Just as God revealed Himself in thunder and lightning, smoke and fire on Mount Sinai, God again revealed Himself in the Sermon on the Mountain. In both cases God was speaking. The people at Mount Sinai could not handle the pure reality revealed in the voice of God. They asked that only Moses speak to them. On Mount Sinai, the finger of God wrote the standard for Holiness. When God again wrote on the ground with His finger before accusers of the adulteress, the people again fell under the conviction of God’s Holiness realizing they fell far short of His standard.

We see in Matthew 5:43-48, Perfection was in the context of LOVE!

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may   be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? Therefore, you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

We will see the sons and daughters being revealed not by power or by might but by the Holy Spirit and the love we have matured into. This is part of the answer to the petition:

Psalm 25:4
Make me know Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths.

All of creation is longing for the sons and daughters to learn love, live love and reveal love.

Romans 8:19
For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.

Who among us would dare or even try to be perfect according to this world system? There have been those who have tried in every way to never say the wrong thing, think the wrong thing, or do the wrong thing. There are those who have tried with all the human effort they could muster and ended up falling apart.  We are not perfect in human terms; however, we are called to become perfect in love. This is why the fivefold ministry was given to the Body of Christ.

Ephesians 5:11-15
And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ,

Why did He give the five-fold ministry?

1.     So that each individual disciple would be equipped to fulfill their assignment in the Body of Christ.
2.     So that the Body of Christ would be built up.
3.     His goal for every believer, disciple of Jesus is to come into unity.
4.     So that we would attain to true knowledge of Jesus Christ.
5.     So that we would all reach full maturity
6.     So that we could reach the complete fullness, lacking nothing in Christ
7.     So that we would become stable and not blown about by every scheme and tactic of the evil one and this world system orchestrated by satan.
8.     So that we would have sound teaching that becomes the substance or our convictions and truth. Free of the religious spirit so active today that wants to keep us, almost in the will of God, almost in the Kingdom of God.
9.     So that we would all grow up in every regard, united with the Head, and responding as one new man.

The key here is that we speak the truth that encourages, builds up, edifies each individual in the Body of Christ. As Graham Cook is want to say, “This does not mean pointing out each other’s faults in a nice way.” This means we speak to the true person inside each of us created in purity, to respond to the identity, purpose, and destiny recording in our book. Psalm 139 declares He not only wrote a book about us, He thinks about us constantly. We also come to understand before the foundation of the world was laid, he wrote a poem, which reveals His workmanship that each of us without exception are. His desire for everyone human being is for them to walk out those plans, desires and purposes He wrote. Every human being on the planet we call earth has a book regardless of what they believe or where they live. He is calling every single person to respond to His love and fulfill their divine purpose.

We have been issued a challenge and that is to become perfect in love! God is love! And we are invited to become like Him as we love our neighbors as ourselves. This is the highest calling and to walk this out we must eject from our souls, unforgiveness, bitterness, malice, selfish ambition, one up men ship, self-centeredness, insubordination, pride and every other thing that is not love.

Bottom line, I am growing in love and accept that I am not perfect.

I love you, because He first loved me!

By the way the Bride He is coming for is flawless, without defect. And if you want to know how to find this Bride, look in the mirror.

Ephesians 5:26-27
so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, that He might present to Himself the Ekklesia in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. (In love – For God is Love)

The Trail of His Tears

Longing for a moment in time
The Red Road before me lay
The tears like fire upon my cheeks
A journey of the Red Road, I call my own!
Slumping to the ground
The drum in my ears does pound
The cry of justice I have found
Hope is the lonely sound

Before me a figure in the distance I see
Who is this? Can it be
The sole survivor of hatred, is it He?
Before one step was taken upon this trail
Ahead of us He walked before
Bitter hatred on Him fell
He wept more tears than I can tell
With the broken hearted united upon that tree

Never will I roam, away from what I see
The Cherokee, Kiowa, and Pawnee
Sacred prayers on bended knee
Cherakowa, Lipon Apache and Shawnee,
Lift your songs into the night
He has already won the fight
Hope smiles through my fears
He was there walking ahead, in His tears
The Trail, now I can see

Rise and take the sacred path
Osage, Yankton, and Cree
Your time has come to be free
The memories of the night, and the raging wrath,
Rise to see the Morning Star, and His decree
Honor and dignity to restore
Health and healing, the Eagles soars
You have come to your hour, no longer can we ignore

Rise up O mighty warriors
Take your place in the sun
Rise up O mighty warriors
See the one, the only Son
Your life has just begun!
The trail of His tears has made away,
He is the one they call Yahwah
Rise again, and see
Your prayers lifted high, like smoke rising in the sky
The one who will never leave
The one and only Son will make away
He paid the price!
Now we rise like the Sioux
His Glory to pursue.

As we walk this road our feet may be black
Tlingit, Mohawk and Seminole
Our stories must be told
He paid the price, our glory to unfold
He is still walking ahead to the right!
We will join Him no matter how dark the night.
Dressed in white Buckskin
The Son, the Creator our friend, this new journey we will begin

Snap Shot or Movie

Life is a movie and not a series of snapshots

There is a call now more than ever to grow up in all respects unto Christ. We enter the Kingdom of God as little children and we must never forget our childlike faith that opens doors before us. However, we must move on and grow up to be adults in the Kingdom. This is demonstrated by people who have become, "Un-Offendable." When you have no buttons to push, you acquire a confidence to stand up in the face of slander and gossip. And attempts of the enemy to find a way to make you feel sorry for yourself, seek revenge or just sulk with hurt feelings will not succeed. All of these attempts would render you powerless and silence your voice. Instead we lean into the Grace of God to allow Him to stripe away all the, "buttons of self-centered, selfishness." We reach for the high calling and the maturity He paid for on the cross for each of us.

Recently having gone through the rejection of a close friend and sadness that followed, I was challenged; are you offended? In this case no it was not offense, it was the pain of saying goodbye to a long-standing friendship. This kind of sorrow that is caused by another, such as the death of a loved one, is not offense. It leaves the heart in sadness and grief at the loss of a companion, friend, brother or sister. Time heals these types of wounds. The one challenge that does complicate things is the knowledge in many cases that severing of the relationships did not have to happen.

When we stumble into a time of cross points with a friend, and our relationship is strained due to some misunderstanding or offense the temptation is to look at that person and take a snapshot of them in the moment. It is easy to walk away and figuratively post that snapshot on the wall and any time we think of that person we look at the snap shot and remember all the angst, hurt feelings and maybe even the anger that was expressed on both sides that day.

It is very hard to consider maybe what happened was only one frame in your movie with that person. A day later, a month later, or even a year later the circumstances around the situation and your understanding of it and their understanding may have changed completely. If you could have a do over with the conversation it would turn out very differently. Often over time we realize the love we had for one another, the companionship, the mutually healthy and joyful fellowship is missing from our lives. Is it true that what happened was so egregious, violent, painful or dishonoring that time can never bring healing or restoration?

The question becomes, was the event or fallout so great that it is greater than love can repair greater than the power of forgiveness, kindness, and Godly reconciliation? I suppose there are events that are heinous that forgiveness may be issued but there is no possibility, nor should there be for being in the same space physically again. However, I learned a long time ago that if I hold on to my right to be right, at the expense of losing a relationship, it isn’t worth it. People are more important than things and it is better to lay our lives down if needed for our friends without sacrificing our dignity before the Lord.

In the True Vine, the Very Body of Christ, we have a covenantal connection with one another from which we can never detach. If in some way you are hurt or offended by my words or actions let us come together and find God’s Grace to never sever the tie that binds us together. I would rather be right and lay that fact down so that we preserve the family unity.

We are never called to be door mats, quite the contrary. I think we need more debate, and passionate commitments to our convictions. As Socrates said, “If we do not challenge every assumption we will never know if what we believe is true.” The difference is we are brothers and sisters and regardless; when the tie breaker is called for, Love wins. Jesus is right! And you are too precious to lose over what in this life is temporal and will be as nothing compared to eternity.

I chose to let go of any prerogative to righteously declare how right I am on certain subjects if it means the loss of you my brother and my sister. Let’s find the truth together which is the Mind of Christ and may we both learn the Truth that will set us both free. If the standard we are so vehemently holding high as our standard for others to rally around becomes a club to beat naysayers, we have lost the essence of being a son or daughter of the King and his love, mercy, grace and forgiveness.

We are all ambassadors of reconciliation! This is a ministry that we are never exempted from. Therefore 24/7 I am under His Lordship as an emissary of His Kingdom to be an agent of transformation in the world around me. I am called to be a catalyst of change in the lives of each person I meet, and that Love will be the beginning of all things. Love will be the guiding principle in all things. Love will be the outcome of all things.

Love God! Love yourself! Love others! Learn what love is! Learn how to love! Speak love! Live love! Express love! Be an example of Love! Love, Love, Love and when all is said and done did your words, actions or thoughts produce love? When we stand before God, who is love, what will we reflect back to Him?

I love you!

Pressure is On!

History is being made all around us. Today as we move out of the old Ecclesiastical system into the Kingdom era the pressure is on. To reach the place God wants you to be, you must pass through the eye of the needle. In ancient Jerusalem this was a very small opening that required you to bend down and slip through. To move to where God is taking you often will require intense pressure as your heart and soul are extruded to reach the reality of your dreams, visions and the the desire of your heart and His. You will never be asked to go through this alone but the One who said, "Not My will but Your will be done" He understands and will go through this with you. Keep your eye on the prize, fix your eyes on Jesus and this too shall pass. (No pun intended). What is on the other side is well worth the cost.

We are moving into the Kingdom age and the King of kings is actively moving His people into strategic positions in all spheres of society and culture. This is stirring up a hornets nest of hate, anger and bitterness in many who are defiant of this transition We praise God that He sent His Son to clear the way and make a way and be our example.

Anchor Concepts to this transition:
1. Treat others the way you would want to be treated yourself.
2. Love the Lord your God with ALL, you heart, soul and mind.
3. Love others the way you love yourself.

Let kindness, generosity and, surrender self completely to the love of God and others.

Still There And Still the Same

When Jesus came to this world, He came to do the will of His Father, and do what He saw the Father doing. He came with an outshining love toward all who would receive Him. When you invited Him into your life, you invited love! He came into your life not to judge but to bring you into the family of God. You returned to a loving Father, who was there with open arms to embrace you, bless you, and to remove your old rags and clothe you in the royal garments of a son or daughter.

God, activated His plans for you, and these plans are for Good. He never planned calamity, pain or harm for you. He was there when you prayed and called out to Him. He has been there every time you came to Him in your times of morning devotions. He has been there every time you turned your attention to Him in the study of His word. His manifest presence has been there every time you entered into worship and praise. He has been there every time you gave your heart to hearing a sermon or teaching. He has been there every time one His prophets was prompted to speak prophetic words over you. He has been there in the loving grace of one of His apostles toward you.

Is there anything that changes God’s love for you? Is there anything to make Him love you any more than He does. Is there anything that will make God abandon you, desert you, give up on you? Does your awareness of His presence change how near He is?

We may wonder away from our awareness of His love or His presence, but that changes nothing. If we ever take our eyes off Him and look away, it doesn’t change how He sees you. As soon as we stop and look to Him and open our hearts once again to Him, we find He hasn’t changed! His love of you hasn’t changed! His plans haven’t changed! Your destiny and purpose hasn’t changed.

Our mood, feelings, emotions, and imagination may change, but God does not change. How we feel about ourselves may change, but God has not changed and He not been moved to feel any other way toward you than love, forgiveness, affirmation, and acceptance.

He never changes, He is the same, yesterday, today and forever. He is love, He is light and He is and always will be our Heavenly Father. Jesus is our savior, friend and elder brother. The Holy Spirit is and always will be our comforter and counselor.
