The Do Over You
The born again you, is still the you that came from your mother’s womb. There is one big difference; when you said, “Yes” to Jesus your spirit self-came fully alive to the reality of who God created you to be. Now a switch takes place rather than the, “Soul” you being subject to the whims, feelings and demands of the physical body, you now turn around and fix your eyes on Jesus. Now rather than the physical body and the natural senses being the primary input for reality, the spirit now takes that role. Now the soul, “you” submits, embraces and chooses to believe the input from your spiritual five senses. Now your physical body follows the lead of the, “Reborn” or “Do Over,” person that you really are. The spirit in union with the Holy Spirit guides your actions, responses and choices in life.

Full Maturity

There is a call now more than ever to grow up in all respects unto Christ. We enter the Kingdom of God as little children and we must never forget our childlike faith that opens doors before us. However we must move on and grow up to be adults in the Kingdom. This is demonstrated by people who have become, "Un-Offendable." When you have no buttons to push, you acquire a confidence to stand up in the face of slander and gossip. And attempts of the enemy to find a way to make you feel sorry for yourself, want revenge or just sulk with hurt feelings. All of these render you powerless and silence your voice. We lean into the Grace of God to allow Him to lead us through the process of stripping away all the, "buttons of soulishness." We reach for the high calling and the maturity that He paid for on the cross for each of us.
